The carriers I work with — and why it matters that I'm independent

I'm not tied to any single insurance company. As an independent broker, I'm contracted with more than a dozen carriers offering Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Part D prescription drug plans, and ancillary coverage across Wisconsin and the other states where I'm licensed. That means when I make a recommendation, it's because a plan genuinely fits your situation — your doctors, your prescriptions, your budget — not because it's the only one I can offer.

The carriers I work with include some of the most recognized names in Medicare coverage, along with regional plans that perform especially well in the Dane County market. Every year I go through each carrier's annual training and certification, so I stay current on what's changed, what's new, and what's worth your attention.

Not every carrier is available in every area — here's what that means for you

Plan availability depends on where you live, which is why the number of products I can offer ranges from a handful in some states to more than 50 in Wisconsin. When we sit down together, I pull up what's actually available at your address — not a national average — and we go from there. If you've moved recently or split time between states, I can work across the states where I hold a license so you're never left figuring it out alone.
